In Design Technology Year 8 students will follow both the game design process and our school’s design thinking process to produce a game of their own design.

Students will plan in detail by including the main six elements needed to make any game successful. Students will develop a design, and then work out how to create their game using different technologies and tools.

Students will have the opportunity to create either a digital game or board game and make the different components using a variety of methods.
